Sectional Overhead Door
The sectional panel door is an attractive alternative to the roller door. Like the old style up-and-over doors, the panel door slides back into your garage along tracks across the ceiling. However, the panel sections travel vertically so there is no out swing into your driveway allowing you to park right up to the door. With every door ‘made-to-measure’, we have something to suit every requirement.
Available in single skin and double skin insulated versions, the popular insulated panel option greatly improves thermal and acoustic performance, reducing the passage of heat and sound. The result is that you, the homeowner, save energy and therefore money – beneficial in the current economic climate! Each insulated panel is 42mm thick and the door comes fully sealed with all round draught seals leaving your garage protected from all types of weather and debris!
With your safety always foremost in our minds, the sectional panel door is CE marked and compliant with Gliderol® ISO 9001 quality systems. Anti-pinch panel profiles provide protection from fingers becoming trapped in the joints of the door. Fingers are equally protected at the sides of the door tracks. An anti-drop safety brake protects the torsion springs. In the unlikely event of a cable failing, the brake will prevent the door from falling. Every motorised door comes complete with a bottom safety edge which stops and reverses the travel of the door should it come in contact with an obstruction. In the event of a power failure, there is a manual override on electric doors enabling you to open/close your door manually giving you complete peace of mind.
With a wide range of different designs, colours, automation and locking options, the sectional door can be tailored to suit your own individual requirements and style.
Choose your own design of door panel – from traditional Georgian to contemporary ribbed profiles, we have something for everyone. Panels are also available in a woodgrain or smooth finish.
The electric remote control option is very popular but for those opting for a manual door, a range of different locking handles are available.
Why not add even more individuality and character to your door by choosing one of the many window options? Along with the traditional designs, stainless steel contemporary window options are now available. Installing windows allows natural light to illuminate the garage interior.
Choose from stock colours black, white, racing green, brown, golden oak or rosewood or get your door made to any RAL colour to match your house.
